County Treasurer
The Stafford County Treasurer's Department has the primary function of collecting real estate, personal property, intangible and motor vehicle taxes, special assessment, and other miscellaneous taxes for the County, cities, townships, school districts, and other taxing e jurisdictions. The Treasurer apportions and distributes such revenue to local taxing unites. In addition, the Treasurer performs the function of a bank for all revenue-generating County departments.
Our Mission:
- To provide friendly, efficient, and professional service to all customers in the collection of property taxes, registering vehicles and titling vehicles
- To keep accurate accounting records of all the financial transactions of the County
- To initiate programs that benefit Stafford County taxpayers
