Road & Bridge Department

Our mission is to serve the citizens of Stafford County by keeping the county roads and bridges in the best shape possible with the resources that we have to work with. ​

Function of Department

  • Build and provide upkeep for the bridges and culverts in the county
  • Maintain the county blacktops and a few miles of gravel roads by patching, overlaying, sealing, and mowing, along with doing traffic control, brush control, and snow and ice control
