Neighborhood Revitalization
Purpose: This plan is intended to promote the revitalization and development of the County of Stafford by stimulating new construction and rehabilitation, conservation or redevelopment of the area in order to protect the public health, safety or welfare of the residents of the County by offering certain incentives, which include tax rebates.
The Stafford County Commissioners approved the Stafford County inter-Local Neighborhood Revitalization Plan on January 1, 2016. This plan will span from tax year January 1, 2016 through December 31, 2020. Please feel free to review the agreement in full. Should you feel you have a project that meets the guidelines, you must obtain the proper forms from the County Appraisers Office in the Courthouse BEFORE any construction or improvements begin.
