The Stafford County Appraiser's Office is looking for a full-time Oil & Gas / Data Collector. This position’s starting wage is dependent upon qualifications, and includes county benefits options such as health insurance, sick leave, vacation, retirement (KPERS) and more. - PROFICIENT COMPUTER SKILLS REQUIRED: Must demonstrate ability
- MS OFFICE: Competently work with MS Excel and Word
- Must have excellent time-management skills due to strict statutory deadline requirements
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Translate and enter data in Orion Program
- Set value and process appeals for Oil & Gas in the CIC program
- Assist with seasonal analysis, appeals, valuation, field inspection, etc.
- Be flexible, possessing the ability to switch tasks as needed/requested
- Communicate in a professional manner, both in person and over the phone
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing
- Prior experience is not required. Training/classes are mandatory with transportation/meals/lodging provided
- Applicant must pass within 3 years, IAAO 101 (Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal) and IAAO 102 (Income to Valuation) in addition to classes provided by PVD (Property Valuation Division)
The Stafford County Sheriff's Department is looking for a self-motivated, proactive individual to fill a Road Deputy Position. Full-time certified Law Enforcement preferred but not required. Applicant must be 21 at the time of applying and have a minimum of a high school diploma.
All equipment and take-home patrol vehicle are furnished. Deputies will work 12 hour shifts on a 3-2-2 rotation with every other weekend off. The county has Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance available and KPERS retirement.
Salary: Non-certified Starts $19.86 per hr.

• Must possess a valid Kansas driver's license.
• No arrest convictions.
• Must pass a background investigation.
• Must pass a physical and drug test.
• Must pass a Psych Evaluation.
• No Brady/Giglio issues.

The department works under protocols designed to provide care to patients in a rural setting. With prolonged transport times and bypass protocols, our EMS personnel must have strong critical thinking skills and be comfortable caring for patients for long periods of time.
Available shifts are 12 hours: * 7am – 7pm (3 shifts per week)
