Multiple Ways to Register to Vote or Update Your Voter Registration
- REQUEST to be registered to vote when renewing your Kansas Driver’s License or ID

- PICK UP Kansas Voter Registration Application form at Election Office, City Office, Library, Health Department (complete, sign and return to election office)
- CALL or EMAIL the Stafford County Election Office at (620) 549-3509 or [email protected] to request a Kansas Voter Registration Application (complete, sign and return to election office)
**Remember that if your name or address has changed you must submit a new Kansas Voter Registration Application at least 21 days prior to election day. Party Affiliation changes for the August primary must be completed prior to noon on June 1.

Early Voting in Person:
Begins on Wednesday 20 days prior to each election day, 8 am to 5 pm Monday - Friday
Location: Stafford County Clerk's Office, Stafford County Courthouse, 209 N Broadway, St. John
Advance Voting by Mail:
Registered voters may apply for an Advance Ballot by Mail. A separate form is required for each election.
Ballots begin mailing 20 days prior to the election.

Photo ID is Required to Vote- Take it to the Polls
Every voter must show a photo ID when voting. A voter requesting a ballot by mail must either write his or her driver's
license number on the application or send a copy of a photo ID to get a ballot.
